I love watching childrens’ eyes light up when they meet their favorite character for the first time, the tenth time, even the 100th time… it never gets old for kids.  There is always a sense of amazement and wonder for them when Mickey walks down Main Street or Cinderella comes to their dinner table.  Well, it never gets old for me either.  On my last Disneyland vacation I am proud to say that I hit 3 character buffets in just 5 days.  Hold your applause please… I know, it’s amazing.  So, I’m sure you’re asking yourself why I would want to be the only adult (along with my fearless traveling companions) at these child-filled buffets.  Well, simply put, I like to meet the characters just as much as those little kids.  It’s true, I’m a bit stubborn when it comes to growing up… there is just something too magical to deny when a fairy tale princess sits down in the seat beside you and stops to chat.  These characters that I have loved all my life seem to jump right off the movie screen and suspend reality for just a moment to find out if you are enjoying your Mickey chicken nuggets and peanut butter pizza.
