Orange Bird PlateI had so much fun sharing my last round of Disney treasures from the antique store, that I just had to follow-up with an AWESOME find that I got at a thrift store this weekend.  The best part of finding treasures at the thrift store is that they aren’t priced like treasures. 🙂  Sitting out in the middle of the housewares section was this plate, an original Orange Bird plate from Walt Disney World. I had recently read about the recent incarnation of Orange Bird merchandise at WDW and thought this might be a reproduction, but the markings on the back of the plate indicate that it was from Orange Bird’s “glory days” in the Magic Kingdom back in the 1970’s.  At $2 price-point, I was sold!
